Capability Statement 
OPC is an Australian owned company manufacturing "Australian Made" and certified products. We are a multi-disciplined organisation established in 1998 supplying and servicing the Australian offshore oil and gas exploration industry.
Our capabilities extend to the following:-
Manufacturing:-
- Offshore containers and lifting equipment in accordance with DNV 2.7-1 Standard for Certification offshore containers, IMO circular 860 and EN12079. Container catalogue
- Fabrication of structural steel, piping and other miscellaneous items in accordance with International and Australian Standards, using approved welding procedures and welders.
Engineering:-
- In-house engineering design and drafting capabilities utilising the latest in 3D CAD.
Rigging:-
- Manufacture of rigging equipment certified to DNV2.7-1, EN12079-2, EN 13414-1, IMO circular 860 and Australian Standards including NATA Certification (National Association of Testing Authorities).
Testing:-
- NATA Accredited to ISO/IEC 17025 and ISO/IEC 17020 for mechanical proof load testing of equipment up to 400 Tonne.
- NATA Accredited to ISO/IEC 17025 and ISO/IEC 17020 for water weight testing with water weights and load cells available in excess of 220 Tonne.
Inspection:-
- NATA Accredited to ISO/IEC 17025 and ISO/IEC 17020 for in-service inspection for offshore lifting and rigging equipment.
Logistics:-
- Supply base operations with undercover and outside storage of 12,000m², all fully secured and located within 5 minutes of the CBD and Barry Beach.
- Transport capabilities throughout Australia for all offshore and general equipment.
Strategically located throughout Victoria servicing the Bass Strait Oil & Gas Industries:-
